About Me

I am Fadi Barakat, an intern from Jerusalem and a graduate of the Faculty of Law at Birzeit University. I participated in the digital marketing program at Al-Quds University after completing training offered by the university with trainers from outside Palestine. I then joined the "Comsec" project to assist merchants in the Old City of Jerusalem with marketing, photography, and more, in order to revive trade in the Old City, especially given the difficult conditions that merchants face due to the war, occupation measures, and discriminatory actions by the Israeli authorities and municipality. The project aimed to help merchants overcome these challenges through online sales and digital marketing. During the training, we worked on creating marketing plans for merchants and assisting them in selling their products via social media platforms.
