About Me

Yara Faqeh is a graduate of Contemporary Visual Arts from Birzeit University. Her journey in photography began with learning its fundamentals, driven by her deep passion for the field. While she initially focused on portrait and nature photography, she had never explored product photography before. Despite initial hesitation due to fear of making mistakes, this program provided a golden opportunity to train, learn from errors, and improve. Throughout the program, Yara gained practical skills such as on-field problem-solving, equipment preparation, and planning creative concepts tailored to each business. She also built valuable connections that benefit both her future career and local merchants. For example, she met an engineer who owns a cultural center that can host workshops, as well as talented friends in need of such opportunities. Connecting them could help revive arts and culture in Jerusalem. Grateful for this program, Yara has significantly enhanced her photography skills, which boosted her confidence in her work. Previously hesitant to accept client photography sessions at her company, she now feels fully capable of capturing products professionally and producing stunning photos and videos.
